New Wine & Spirit Boutique Comes to Briarcliff

From to , Briarcliff Manor's latest liquor retailer is looking to provide locals with rare brands and .

 has replaced Briarcliff Wine & Liquors on Pleasantville Road, at the intersection of North State Road.

It's an "upscale wine and spirit boutique with an emphasis on single malt whiskies," according to Judy Brazong, the shop's owner, who has a background in advertising.

Having officially taken over the business in June, Brazong said business has been tough so far, especially adjacent to the storefront.

"After , I've had to sink more funds into the business," she said.

Brazong, an Irvington resident, said she chose the village as the location for the shop for its "great location and good rent in a very lovely town."

Since its opening, the shop has been offering frequent tastings for residents to try everything from rum to vodka and Brazong is working to build the store into an "exclusive destination for spirits not found elsewhere in Westchester."
