No Prepayment of Taxes In Pleasantville
Village property owners are encouraged to contact the Mount Pleasant Town Tax Receivers with regard to taxes that may be paid before Dec.31.

From The Town of Pleasantville: The Village has received inquiries concerning the payment of 2018 Village real property taxes prior to December 31, 2017 in light of the recent federal tax law changes and the Executive Order issued by Governor Cuomo on Friday, December 22, 2017.
The Village cannot accept payment of real property taxes attributable to its 2018 budget because its fiscal year commences on June 1, 2018 and the budget for this upcoming fiscal year has yet to be adopted. The Executive Order issued by the Governor does not enable the Village to do so because it is limited to the collection of local property taxes for which 2018 budgets have been adopted.
Village property owners are encouraged to contact the Mount Pleasant Town Tax Receivers with regard to real property taxes that may be paid before December 31, 2017 in accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order.
