People's Caucus Nominations Jan. 11
Briarcliff's independent election system is starting up for 2017, with the three meetings scheduled for January.
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — The People's Caucus’ Annual Nominating Meeting will be held in the Community Center on Wednesday.
At this meeting, which will start at 8 p.m., the Caucus members will nominate candidates (which may include themselves) for Mayor, two Trustee positions, Village Justice and the Caucus’ Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee is pleased to announce that the following residents of the village have indicated their intention to seek the Caucus' nomination for village offices:

- Village Mayor – Lori A. Sullivan, 26 Jackson Road
- Village Trustee – Mark J. Wilson, 27 Law Road
- Village Trustee – Bryan Zirman, 174 Pine Road
- Village Justice - Howard T. Code, 18 Hungerford Road
On Jan. 18 those persons nominated for local elected office will participate in a debate/meet the candidates meeting, where the public will have the opportunity to ask them questions. This meeting will also start at 8 p.m.
Should any local elected position be contested, a voting meeting will be held on Jan. 25, in the William J. Vescio Community Center. Voting hours are 3-9 p.m. or by Absentee Ballot.
