Phelps Memorial Hospital Center Appoints Vice President of Support Services

Sleepy Hollow resident Glen Taylor brings 20 years of experience to post

Glen Taylor MS, RPh, of Sleepy Hollow has been appointed Vice President of Support Services at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. He oversees the departments of facility services, food & nutrition services, information technology, pharmacy services and telecommunications. Taylor has more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospital and health system settings. For the past 12 years he was the Administrative Director of Pharmacy Services at Greenwich Hospital, where he also served on safety and operations improvement committees involved with cost containment, nursing leadership, service excellence and safety resources. Previously, he was the Director of Pharmacy Services at Lawrence Hospital Center in Bronxville, NY, and Assistant Director of Pharmacy Services at Mount Sinai Medical Center (now Mount Sinai Hospital) in New York City.

Taylor, a licensed registered pharmacist in New York and Connecticut, has a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from St. John’s University and a master of science degree in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University. He is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
