Photos: Mavis Tire Rebuilds in Pleasantville
One year after an electrical fire, the Marble Avenue business has made headway on its rebuild.
Following a large blaze last September, Pleasantville's Mavis Discount Tire has been in the process of rebuilding its former structure—in a larger, newer fashion.
A portion of the building's roof collapsed during the fire, which led the owners to decide to tear down the rest of the structure and rebuild it from scratch.
The Planning Commission approved a plan that would allow eight garage bays on the new building, versus the original two.
