Planting In a “Torah Bed” with the Hebrew School at Chabad

Have you ever seen a “Torah Garden Bed?”

Well, this past Sunday, Chabad Hebrew School of Briarcliff Ossining, ended their graduation ceremony by going outdoors and planting flowers in a specially prepared “Torah Bed.” The students brought shovels, trowels, and flowers, and proceeded to plant together.

It was a truly memorable experience. “The holiday of Shavuot , which marks the Giving of the Torah , is less than two weeks away. It is said that Mount Sinai was in full bloom at the time of the giving of the Torah, So this activity comes at the perfect time..celebrating this awesome holiday,” Says Miriam Labkowski, program director.
