Pleasantville Changes Ragamuffin Parade Time
What won't change: the annual event always ends with a community party at Memorial Plaza.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The start time for the annual Ragamuffin Parade has been changed, Pleasantville officials announced.
The free event for the entire community features costumes, pumpkins, rides, and entertainment. This year it's on Oct. 30. It will start an hour later than it was listed in the fall recreation brochure.
Line up: 11:30 a.m. at Bedford Road School
Parade: starts at noon

The parade route is west down Bedford Road from the school to Memorial Plaza. Afterward, the rec department will host fun and games in the plaza until 2 p.m.
Pleasantville officials recommend that anyone unvaccinated who is unable to maintain 6 feet of social distance wear a mask.
