As it begins planning for its 25th anniversary celebration, the Pleasantville Farmers Market is pleased to announce that it has been named Westchester’s Best Farmers Market for the 9th consecutive year. Awarded by Westchester Magazine and voted on by readers and food enthusiasts, the Best of Westchester ranking recognized the Pleasantville Farmers Market as “best of” in two categories – Best Farmers Market and Best Produce.
“This year’s recognition is especially sweet, as we have weathered two difficult years of COVID, keeping the Market open safely for our farmers, food artisans and customers,” said Peter Rogovin, President and Chair of Foodchester, Inc., which operates the Pleasantville Farmers Market. “And we’re delighted to be back in full swing this summer with music, kids events, culinary demonstrations, and the return of popular events like the apple pie contest, corn roast and tie-dye event later this year.”
