Under the direction of Dr. Thomas Heintzelman, students gave a first-rate concert on Tuesday evening to the delight of hundreds.
The concert featured a variety of music and ensembles including the concert band, the wind ensemble, flute ensemble, with guest cellist Issei Herr and the brass quintet.
From Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever to Pachelbel’s Canon, there was something for everyone.

The performance featured drummers, all the musicians and received a standing ovation at the end.
“If you want more music,” said Heintzelman, “you’ll have to come back Thursday.”
The Pleasantville High School Spring Concert Part II will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the auditorium, featuring individual performances by seniors.
