PLEASANTVILLE MUSIC FESTIVAL TEAMS UP WITH LOVE HOPE STRENGTH FOUNDATION, THE WORLD'S LEADING ROCK-AND-ROLL CANCER FOUNDATION

The Pleasantville Music Festival announces a new partnership with the Love Hope Strength Foundation

The organizers of the 11th annual Pleasantville Music Festival are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Love Hope Strength Foundation, the world’s leading rock-and-roll cancer foundation.

In this agreement, Love Hope Strength will be named Featured Charitable Partner, allowing for greater exposure to this amazing foundation that turns concerts into lifesaving events.

Founded in 2007 by leukemia survivors including Mike Peters of the Welsh rock band The Alarm, LHS organizes major musical pilgrimages to majestic sites like Mt. Everest and Mt. Kilimanjaro to help fund cancer clinics around the world.

They also conduct bone marrow registration drives at concerts and festivals big and small, to find thousands of life-saving matches for those in need. Five of these matches have come from donors who registered at previous Pleasantville Music Festivals.

LHS has built strong relationships with countless rock musicians, and will be calling on these relationships—and forging new ones—to help the Pleasantville Music Festival bring in top talent. They will also be helping to promote the PMF to their devoted fan base.

This agreement represents the first time that either the PMF or LHS has partnered with a fellow non-profit to help build the musical line-up. It’s an arrangement that’s already raising some eyebrows in the music world, one that many are looking on with interest, and one that both Festival organizers and LHS staff hope will prove successful now and into the future.

Since 2005, the Pleasantville Music Festival has brought world-famous artists and breaking national acts together with local up-and-comers. Now in its 10th year working with its media sponsor 107.1 the Peak and 11th year over all, the Festival is a must-attend summer event for friends & family, food & drink, a warm positive vibe, and of course, world-class rock. The Pleasantville Music Festival is New York’s Backyard Jam.
