Pleasantville Music Festival Tickets Go on Sale Today

Four main stage acts have been announced.

The 7th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival, slated for July 9 of this year, has announced four of its main stage acts today:

  • Marc Cohn
  • Augustana
  • Nicole Atkins and the Black Sea
  • Scars on 45

“We are very excited about the musicians who are signing on to make this our best Fest yet,” said Co-Executive Directors Sol Skolnick and Rich Sarfaty in a statement.

Additionally, 17 more musical acts will be named by the organization next week.

Tickets for the festival go on sale at 3 p.m. this afternoon. General admission adult tickets are $40; seniors ages 62 and up and students between the ages of 12 and 21 can purchase $15 tickets.

The annual event involes music by internationally and locally known bands and musicians who perform on three stages throughout the day. The day of music, food and other activities begins at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 and runs through 8:30 p.m. at .

According to the festival's website, past performers have included Jakob Dylan, The Bacon Brothers, Rusted Root, Carney, Davey Knowles, Joan Osborne, Dar Williams and Roger McGuinn.

A large mix of local musicians are also always among the festival's performers.

Local vendors, including Pleasantville's and , provide food, drinks and more for attendees to enjoy.
