Pleasantville Offers Joaquin Resources
Village residents are urged to sign up for emergency notifications.
Over the past few days Pleasantville has been closely monitoring the path of Hurricane Joaquin and coordinating with Westchester County Office of Emergency Management, said Village Administrator Patricia Dwyer.
“The latest weather advisories are indicating that we will not be directly impacted by the hurricane,” she wrote. “However, we will continue to experience moderate rainfall and wind gusts throughout today and into tomorrow, due to a different weather system.Weather patterns and forecasts are not always accurate. You should continue to monitor the Hurricane Joaquin’s storm track by listening to local news reports.”
