Pleasantville Offers Pool Alternative to Residents

The Pleasantville Pool has been closed because the main pool liner was infiltrated by water.

"We are actively working to isolate the source of water infiltration," said Linda Bellofatto,Superintendent of Recreation. "Once the source is isolated repairs will immediately begin."

In an effort to accommodate pool patrons, Pleasantville rec department officials have arranged for use of the Westwood Swim and Tennis Pool this weekend.  The pool is located at 592 Columbus Avenue, Thornwood. 

Residents will need to show your 2016 pool pass to enter the facility.  Westwood will be open on Saturday from 12-8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 – 7 p.m.
