Pleasantville Roads, Power: Friday Update
Lake, Greenmeadow, Dogwood and Pierce remain the problems.

News from the village mayor:
As of Friday AM, we have roughly 120 homes still without power. Although there are scattered outages in various areas, these are the three largest issues:
LAKE STREET: Needs a pole, transformer, replacement of major feeder lines, and restoration of homes. A crew from out of state is on site now, and a new pole has been delivered. We are awaiting a new transformer and resolution of the feeder line issues.
GREENMEADOW: The last restorations require a new pole, transformer and wire repair. The pole has been delivered to Pville, but we are waiting for the transformer.
DOGWOOD/PIERCE: A new pole (now in Pville) and wire restoration are needed.
Our DPW team is out with Con Ed and is pressing these issues literally full-time. We’re cautiously hopeful that we’ll get crews at all of these sites today - but are waiting for confirmation.
Patience is stretched thin a week into this, and you can be sure that there will be much discussion with Con Ed after this troubling episode. Thanks, as always, to Pville folks who have helped neighbors, and thanks to Jeff Econom and his DPW team - who have not gotten a lot of sleep this week, working on behalf of Pville.
Looking forward, as you all are, to seeing resolution of these Con Ed issues.
Peter
