POV DOCUMENTARY & DISCUSSION: BROOKLYN CASTLE
POV Documentary and Discussion: Brooklyn Castle on Sunday, February 28th from 2-4 pm at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library
Brooklyn Castle is the exhilarating story of five Brooklyn public school students and aspiring young chess players and how chess became the school’s unlikely inspiration for academic success. There will be a discussion of the film after the viewing. This documentary is presented in collaboration with Point of View (POV), the award-winning independent non-fiction film series on PBS (www.pbs.org/pov).
