Prime Fuel Gas Station Makes Room for Mini Mart
The Old Village gas station is now under construction in Pleasantville.
Pleasantville's Prime Fuel gas station is temporarily closed as renovations are made to the garage area of the property, located across the street from in the Old Village.
"It will continue to be a gas station and they are adding a convenience store," explained Michael Testa, the village's building inspector.
To make room for the store, which after a series of public hearings by the planning board, the space previously used as a garage on the property will be converted into the store.

When reopened, the gas station will no longer be accessible via the northern curb cut on Broadway (adjacent to the Bedford Road traffic light).
Originally posed as a 24-hour or late night store, led to the village board making hours more restrictive for all businesses in the zone—6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Testa said the store and improved gas station should be complete within 60 days.
