Public Hearing on Pepsi Plans for Mount Pleasant
New R&D building plus modernization throughout the property at Columbus and East Stevens.
MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — The Town of Mount Pleasant Industrial Development Agency will hold a public hearing April 17 on Pepsico's plan for its industrial property at Columbus and East Stevens avenues. The company plans to add an R&D facility and renovate an existing building.
The leasehold property now consists primarily of a three-story office building and a two-story warehouse building/pilot plant facility, plus parking lots.
The improvements Pepsico wants to do include expanding the office building by 15,000 square feet; building a 122,000 square-foot, three-story state-of-the-art research and development facility; adding a new parking area and overall modernization.
