Rabid Skunk Found in Pleasantville
It was trapped after interacting with a family's pets.

Pleasantville officials have issued this notice:
The Westchester County Health Department has notified the Pleasantville Police of a confirmed case of rabies in a skunk captured near Willis Place in Pleasantville.
The animal was trapped after interacting with family pets, and it tested positive for the rabies virus. The Department of Health and the Pleasantville Police Department are working together on this.
