Rain Makes Its Return to Briarcliff Manor This Weekend

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — It looks like rain is ready to make its return to the Hudson Valley just in time for this weekend.

We’ve reached the point where we can really say, ‘we need the rain’ as most of the state is in the midst of a severe rainfall shortage.

It’s not going to be a complete washout of a weekend, but we’re looking at the potential for a good soaking rain later this weekend. If you have outdoor plans Saturday definitely is the better of the two days. It’s likely that the heaviest rain will fall Sunday night; however, showers and thunderstorms are possible during the day on Sunday too.

Temps over the next seven days will also remain warm in the 70s and even the 80s.

Cloudy with a chance of showers. A chance of thunderstorms...mainly in the afternoon. Highs around 80. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Showers likely. Lows in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 70 percent.
