Pleasantville Farmers Market is a community-based, volunteer-run organization -- JOIN US!
Would you believe that the Market is almost entirely run by volunteers? We need help on Saturdays in the marketplace – everything ranging from helping with music performances, sitting at the Manager’s Table to help customers, walking the aisles of the Market to answer questions, and, for those early birds, setting up the Market before everything gets started. In addition, we have many special events that need volunteer support – kids events, culinary events, special community events. No matter your interest, we have a volunteer opportunity for you.

Lead Sponsor Northwell Health Tip:
Meghan Holmgren, Managing Editor at Northwell Health, learned an easy way to create some components that go into healthy dishes, like vegetable stock. "As I chopped, I tossed all my veggie scraps into a container on my counter. Once I had a few cups' worth stored up, I just dropped the contents into a slow cooker with water, put it on low, and viola! Twelve hours later I had vegetable stock with no salt or additives."
