Richard R. Roksvold, Longtime Pleasantville Resident

Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville.

Richard R. Roksvold entered into eternal light on April 19, 2013. He was born on June 2, 1940 to Martha and Bjarne Roksvold. Richard graduated from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. He served honorably in the United States Army. His life’s work was as a service technician for a refrigeration company.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years Karen, his son William Roksvold, his wife Nicole, and their children Hailey and Ryan, his son Michael Roksvold, his wife Wendy, and their son Gunnar, and stepson Kyle Callahan and his son Robert Roksvold, his wife Tracy, and their children Riley and Patrick, a brother Thomas Roksvold, his wife Mary Anne, and nephew Thomas Roksvold and his family. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a good neighbor who was active with the American Legion. He lived in Pleasantville for 43 years and raised his family there.

Visitation will be Thursday 4-8pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville where his funeral service will take place Friday 10:30am. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla.
