Roger proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, in the Army of Occupation after WWII, in Germany.  He was self-made man, establishing The Buchanan Agency in North White Plains in the mid 1950’s.  Roger was known for his kindness, his clever wit and especially his true passion for the game of golf.  He took pleasure in helping others, whether it was family, friends or just an acquaintance and he did so quietly, and gracefully.  His children and grandchildren will miss his wonderful personality.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 2nd between 4 and 9pm at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 3rd at 10 AM at Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church, Pleasantville, NY.
