Rose Antonini: Briarcliff Building Dept. Secretary, Volunteer

Visiting hours are Wednesday for the former Village of Briarcliff Manor employee.

Rose Antonini of Ossining died on April 14, 2013. She was 85.

She was born Oct. 10, 1927 in Ossining to Robert & Minnie DiPillo DeCuircio.

Rose worked as a secretary for the Briarcliff Manor Building Department.

She dedicated her life to God’s service having volunteered at Rosary Hill as a member of the 3rd Order of the Dominican Sisters working with the terminally ill.

Rose was a Eucharist Minister at St. Ann’s and also volunteered at Phelps Memorial Hospital and the Ossining Food Pantry.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Luigi and son Louis.

Rose is survived by her son David, daughter Anna Marie Filomio (Jimmy), brother Robert DeCuircio (Evelyn), sister Marie Zakreski, grandchildren Jimmy Jr., Julie Marie, Ciara Male, 3 great-grandchildren and several nephews & nieces. 

She will be reposing April 17 2-4 & 7-9pm at 32 State St., Ossining.

A Mass of the Resurrection is scheduled for 10am April 18 at St. Ann’s Church, with burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, NY would be appreciated.
