Saturday: Sunny & New Vendors!
Place preorders from our vendors Tues, 7:00pm – Thurs, 7:00pm. Then walk up Saturday, 8:30am – 1:00pm, to gather your preorders shop further

This Saturday we again have a forecast of beautiful weather (sunny and mid-70's). We have farms bringing some of the best harvests of the year. And we welcome four NEW food artisans to the Market this week:
- Edenesque (nut and oat milks)
- Freshly Made (cold-pressed juices)
- Knot of this World Pretzels (fresh soft pretzels)
- Puras Paletas (creamy and fruit based pops)
These new producers have their items in Pleasantville Farmers Market Online, so it's easy to learn about their offerings and make preorders.
Puras Paletas offers insulated bags in their PFM-Online store so shoppers can be equipped to collect pops (and a free ice pack) to take home for the freezer. We're pleased to report that retired vendor Go-Go Pops has given their stamp of approval to Puras Paletas, in fact they expect them to be a real pops-star...

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Pleasantville Farmers Market remains committed to the health and safety of the whole community, including shoppers, vendors, volunteers, and staff. Mask wearing for unvaccinated shoppers (including children) is required, and all shoppers are requested to maintain physical distancing in the marketplace.
Because many our food artisans sell delicious treats that can be consumed at the Market, physically distanced tables and chairs are provided on our grass area for families to enjoy their treats together, mask-free.

Whose NEW This Saturday?
Edenesque (Kingston, NY) produces dairy-free nut and oat milks without preservatives, additives, or mystery ingredients. Freshly Made (Yonkers, NY) creates a variety of healthy and delicious cold-pressed juices served in eco-friendly reusable mason jars and made with local produce such as kale, cucumber, carrots, and apples. Frequency: Visiting on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month
Puras Paletas (West Orange, NJ) produces small batch creamy and fruit-based ice pops with natural, unprocessed ingredients, organic and locally sourced whenever possible, and free of corn syrup. Flavors include watermelon lemonade, strawberry mango, and chocolate banana. Frequency: Weekly

Forward Roots will be in with their small batch, naturally fermented kimchi sauces and delicious kimchi-based prepared foods. Don't go a week without these tangy and sour flavors, or the natural prebiotics and probiotics.
SallyeAnder will be in this Saturday as they will not be able to visit next week for their normal scheduled visit.
Warwick Valley Winery & Black Dirt Distillery will be in with their line of hard ciders, fruit liqueurs and cordials, wines and distilled items such as their bourbon.
Kriemhild Dairy Farms - Check the freezer and fridge in case you need to stock up on Kriemhild Meadow Butter, Creamline milk and chocolate milk, real buttermilk with cultures, and Creme Fraiche.
Kiernan Farms has a SALE on pork Country Style ribs at $9.25/lb (reg. $13.25/lb). They have discounted their beef Tuscan sausages too, at $14.00/lb (reg. $17.00/lb). And if you buy 5 one pound packages of ground beef at $11.75/lb, get $10.00 off the total.
Last year due to the pandemic Edgwick Farm didn't make their Funny Child cheese so it has been absent this year. Early this winter, cheesemaker Nathan diligently made 200 wheels with the first milk and then Dan washed it with a curated beer from Long Lot Farm Brewery in Chester, NY (Insane Cow, an imperial stout). Now aged six months and cut into wedges, Funny Child is being brought to market by Edgwick Farm.
Head and Heal will visit Saturday. They're licensed by New York State to grow and process hemp for CBD on their farm. As a true seed-to-sale business, they manage all aspects of production to create full-spectrum CBD tinctures, salves, and lotions of the highest quality.
Nina White of Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse notes that this is the time of year to enjoy her Rosemary Epi bread, some creamy Baudolino cheese and seasonal tomatoes from our farms. Preorder yours or stop by Bobolink's tent to taste a sample first.
