Saturday's Forecast: Summer!
Pleasantville Farmers Market is open Saturday, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Despite the unique challenges that 2020 has brought us, summer and the Market arrive on schedule this Saturday. Perhaps more than in any other year, we feel the dependable and inspiring aspects of the seasonal items our producers and nature bring us. Whether a crisp snap pea, superb tomato, fresh herb, gorgeous yellow yolk, ethically raised, delicious chicken, beef or fish to grill, or a perfect strawberry, these foods bring us the taste and feel of summer. And a taste of normal in a not normal time. See you at the Market.
Masks Are Mandatory & Other Guidelines To Shop
Help the Market remain a safe and efficient place to gather food. Masks are required to be worn while in the Market. Please send only one member of the family to shop. If arriving as a couple, bring enough reusable bags so you can splitting up shopping tasks. Do not use the Market at this time as a family outing as we must limit the number of people in the marketplace, and shopping is meant to be brief and purposeful. For more information about COVID-19 protocols for shoppers please click here. Your adherence to these shopping guidelines assists us in keeping the Market open to support residents and vendors alike.
Absolutely avoid the Market if you are sick. Especially so if you exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus (temperature of 100° or above, a cough, a sore throat, shortness of breath). The New York State Department of Health has set up a hotline at (888) 364-3065 where Department of Health experts are available to answer questions regarding COVID-19.

The Market appears on course to safely stay open. We no longer need to post an "open/closed" notice to our website's homepage on a weekly basis. However if conditions create a need for a gap in service we will provide that update to the homepage and use this newsletter to further get the word out.
