Saw Mill Parkway Repaving Update

Repaving work continues on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Pleasant and New Castle. The work's being done in both the north- and southbound lanes.

The parkway will be closed at night Sunday through Friday between Marble Avenue and Roaring Brook Road. If all goes well, the need for closures and detours will be finished Thursday night.

After that, single lane closures can be expected until Nov. 3. However, if there is any type of delay in the milling and paving, there could be full closure.

Basin work, gutter work, rail cleaning, etc will continue on the shoulders.

All work is weather dependent and will shift accordingly.
