PREORDER!
To reserve items & enjoy contactless, quick pick up
Reserve items from 20 vendors by preordering through PFM-O tonight. Doing so helps reduce walk up line pressure for vendors, and you enjoy shopping that is both contactless and quick.
Here's the scoop on the colorful markings on the pavement at the Market (they support Pleasantville Farmers Market Online).
- Items ordered on PFM-O are collected at vendor’s tents. Skip the morning rush as your items are reserved!
- All participating vendors have a sign saying “Preorder From Me Online”.
- In front of vendors that typically lack significant lines "Walk Up Service & Preorder Pick Up" is painted on the pavement. PFM-O shoppers wait briefly with other walk up shoppers to collect their items from these vendors.
- Vendors having dedicated, sizeable walk up lines display a “Pick Up Preorders Here” sign above a yellow "Preorder Pick Up" box painted on the pavement - at these vendors you can skip the walk up line. Step in the box, then step away quickly after receiving your preorder.
If you have questions about PFM-O please email us at info@pleasantvillefarmersmarket.org.
As a community of vendors, shoppers and volunteers we've had a successful season at the Market supporting one another during the COVID-19 crisis. Now PFM-O can provide a new and valuable resource to further assist shoppers doing essential shopping while supporting regional producers.
Food Donation Day:
Results!
We are happy to share the news that last Saturday's Food Donation Day received great support! 834 pounds of fresh produce was donated at the Pleasantville Farmers Market - along with 134 loaves of bread, plus some donations of bagels, peanut butter, jam, applesauce, granola and soup. Of that total 273 pounds were from our generous farmers.
Many of you used PFM-O last week to make cash donations which were used by the Pleasantville Community Garden to purchase items to donate. All this food was donated to Hillside Food Outreach, Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and to Neighbors Link for distribution to their clients starting on Monday, 8/10.
Thank you everyone for helping make this incredible donation day come together!
