Sondheim's Classic Musical 'Assassins' Opens Tonight at ARC Stages in Pleasantville

The Community Stages arm of Pleasantville’s ARC Stages is performing the Stephen Sondheim musical Assassins.

The 2004 Broadway production won five Tony Awards.

It opens Nov. 7 and will run for 8 shows, closing Nov. 16.

The show is directed by ARC’s Artistic Director Adam David Cohen, musical directed by Marcus Baker, and features local talent from NYC and as nearby as Briarcliff Manor and Pleasantville.

Boasting a powerful score, Assassins tells a story of a group of some of the country’s most famous assassins through a Sondheim-esque musical revue.
