State Job for Former Briarcliff Cop, Suspect in Taconic Murder
Ronald Langer served prison time for unlawfully pulling female motorists over.

Ronald Langer, who lost his job as a Briarcliff Manor police sergeant and was imprisoned for violating the civil rights of women he illegally pulled over on the Taconic Parkway, has a state job, The Journal News reported.
Langer is still the only suspect in the 1987 murder of Sherri Orofino of Millbrook, NY, who was raped, strangled and thrown down an embankment along the Croton Reservoir after being stopped on the Taconic.
Langer was arrested on civil rights charges in 1990 by federal investigators after other women, hearing about the Orofino case, told police about their experiences with him.
