State Police Promote 6--3 in Westchester
Justin W. Marrero, assigned to the Hawthorne barracks, will be appointed to Investigator.

New York State Police officials announce recent promotions in Troop K, which serves Putnam and Westchester counties as well as Dutchess and Columbia counties.
- Investigator Francis P. Stabile III entered the State Police Basic School on January of 1996. He was promoted to Investigator in May of 2004 and effective February 26, 2015, he is appointed to Senior Investigator where he will serve the SP Somers barracks.
- Trooper Justin W. Marrero, an 11-year veteran of the State Police, will be appointed to Investigator effective February 26, 2015. Trooper Marrero is currently assigned to the Hawthorne barracks and is the 2014 recipient of the Zone 3 Trooper of the Year Award.
- Trooper Steven M. Connolly, a 7-year veteran of the State Police, is appointed to Investigator effective February 26, 2015. Trooper Connolly is currently assigned to the Cortlandt barracks where he serves Troop K as a Drug Recognition Expert, Crime Scene Technician and a Field Training Officer.
- Trooper Christian McCarthy started his career with the New York State Police in April of 1994. Trooper McCarthy is currently assigned to the Troop K Traffic Incident Management Team and is the Assistant Senior Diver on the Troop K Scuba detail. Effective February 26, 2015, Trooper McCarthy will be promoted to Sergeant, where he will serve Troop F.
- Investigator Marcus A. Walthour entered the Division of State Police in October of 2000. He was promoted to Investigator in March of 2008 and effective February 26, 2015, he is appointed to Senior Investigator where he will serve Division Headquarters.
- Trooper John F. Reppucci, also an 11-year veteran of the State Police, will be appointed to Investigator effective February 26, 2015. Trooper Reppucci is currently assigned to the Livingston barracks. Trooper Reppucci is a CPR and EMS instructor with the State Police and is also trained in Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response.
