2nd week with
TWO WAYS TO SHOP

The Market has added to its traditional walk up service the option to preorder items in advance through Pleasantville Farmers Market Online (PFM-O). Having both these services enables more customers to move efficiently through the Market each Saturday. And that helps us continue to safely support our producers and residents.

PFM-O opened Tuesday night at 7:00pm and closes today, Thursday, at 2:00pm. 20 vendors are participating this week. Payment is made with a single click. A $5 fee is added to your order total to offset the costs of running this service. Preorder for contactless pick up, to make your visit faster and to help all lines to be shorter.

Want to shop? You can still do so this morning. As a first time user sign up (register) by CLICKING HERE. Then use the same link to login and begin preordering.

Colorful markings on the pavement at the Market? Those support Pleasantville Farmers Market Online (PFM-O). Here's the scoop:

  • Items ordered on PFM-O are collected at vendor’s tents. You’ll be emailed a list of ordered items. Skip the morning rush as your items are reserved!
  • All participating vendors have a sign saying “Preorder From Me Online”.
  • In front of vendors that typically lack significant lines "Walk Up Service & Preorder Pick Up" is painted on the pavement. PFM-O shoppers wait briefly with other walk up shoppers to collect their items from these vendors.
  • Vendors having dedicated, sizeable walk up lines display a “Pick Up Preorders Here” sign above a yellow "Preorder Pick Up" box painted on the pavement - at these vendors you can skip the walk up line. Step in the box, then step away quickly after receiving your preorder.

Masks Are Mandatory & Other Guidelines
Help the Market remain a safe and efficient place to gather food. Masks are required to be worn while at the Market. Please send only one member of the family to shop. If arriving as a couple, bring enough reusable bags so you can splitting up shopping tasks. Do not use the Market at this time as a family outing as we must limit the number of people in the marketplace, and shopping is meant to be brief and purposeful. For more information about COVID-19 protocols for shoppers please click here. Your adherence to these shopping guidelines assists us in keeping the Market open to support residents and vendors alike.

Absolutely avoid the Market if you are sick. Especially so if you exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus (temperature of 100° or above, a cough, a sore throat, shortness of breath). The New York State Department of Health has set up a hotline at (888) 364-3065 where Department of Health experts are available to answer questions regarding COVID-19.

Pay The Meters On Saturday
This Saturday if you park at a meter, or in a lot with a pay station, please note that parking enforcement in the Village's downtown resumed on July 1.

Phelps Health Tip:
Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health shares the following: "Based on some estimates, vegetables supply over 50% of vitamins C and A, and much of our B6, magnesium, niacin, thiamin, and iron. Eating a variety of seasonal plant foods, which supply these and many more nutrients, can help reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease".
