Summer Harvest With A Hint Of Fall

Pleasantville Farmers Market is open Saturday, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Labor Day weekend is not until next week. Fall is not officially here until later in September. Nevertheless, there are signs that we're moving into a new season. Not every day is in the high 80's anymore. It's dark by 7:30pm. The River Garden has both summer and late season varieties of cut flowers. Fresh apples and early fall squash are starting to arrive at the Market. It's always hard to let summer go, but fall brings with it a set of welcome harvests and seasonal recipes to enjoy. Thanks for supporting our farmers and food artisans this summer. They're ready to provide for your family as we move into the next season too.

PFM-ONLINE!

Pleasantville Farmers Market Online (PFM-O) provides a way to enjoy contactless shopping, reserve items to avoid the morning rush, and to keep your Market visit brief.

If you are a first time user of PFM-O please register by CLICKING HERE. Then use the same link to login and preorder from participating vendors - you can place orders today until 2:00pm (PFM-O is open each week Tuesday, 7:00pm - Thursday, 2:00pm).

How to pick up preordered items?

  • Items ordered on PFM-O are collected at vendor’s tents.
  • All participating vendors have a sign saying “Preorder From Me Online”.
  • In front of vendors that typically lack significant lines "Walk Up Service & Preorder Pick Up" is painted on the pavement. PFM-O shoppers wait briefly with other walk up shoppers to collect their items from these vendors.
  • Vendors having dedicated, sizeable walk up lines display a “Pick Up Preorders Here” sign above a yellow "Preorder Pick Up" box painted on the pavement - at these vendors you can skip the walk up line. Step in the box, then step away quickly after receiving your preorder.

PFM-O is also a great way to further support your producers. By preordering items and skipping the line at our busiest vendors you can help reduce the length of vendors' walk up lines (to their relief!) and provide them needed revenue during a challenging year.

PFM-O ABSENCE:
Morgiewicz Produce
will be at the Market Saturday but is absent this week from the PFM-O.
