Solar Together will build on the success of the previous public-private predecessor, Solarize -- a local initiative that offered the same benefits for a limited time period, through partnerships between high qualified private installers and local municipalities.

The model is already proven to work, explains Sunrise CEO Douglas Hertz. “As the designated installer for numerous highly successful Solarize programs throughout Westchester, Rockland and the Hudson Valley, we’ve seen firsthand the benefits of empowering customers with the education they need to make informed energy choices, and allowing neighbors within the community to pool their purchasing power for the best possible pricing,” Mr. Hertz says.
