Sweets, Treats and More at Pleasantville's Yogolicious

New frozen yogurt shop offers fun, youthful atmosphere and full candy bar.

From 'Pleasantville Peanut Butter' to 'Very Berry Cheesecake,' Pleasantville's newest sweet shop offers a variety of unique frozen yogurt flavors, toppings and more.

has been open for exactly one week on Marble Avenue and the recent warm weather has kept Pleasantville resident and Owner Jennifer Paternostro on her toes.

"It has been non-stop since we opened," she said. "It's been amazing."

Paternostro has lived in Pleasantville for 12 years and said she has always traveled with her four kids to neighboring towns like Mount Kisco and Scarsdale for a frozen yogurt fix.

"There was nothing like this around town," she said.

So Paternostro and her husband did some research and visited existing area frozen yogurt shops for inspiration. But other places didn't impress Paternostro or fit her vision for a place that she calls "above and beyond."

Between the candy, fresh fruit, sauces and more, there are upwards of 50 toppings at Yogolicious, as well as an array of unique frozen yogurt flavors.

"Most places only have about 15 [toppings]," she said.

With planning and across the street, Paternostro is confident the prime downtown location will continue bringing in more customers.

The small, but colorful shop is also completely kid-friendly—iPads are setup on the bar for kids to play games on while they enjoy a treat.

"It's a place for kids to come and fun," Paternostro said.
