This Saturday we'll get a taste of fall at the Pleasantville Farmers Market with temperatures low and the autumn harvest piled high. Gather ingredients for warming dishes such as roasted meats and root vegetables, creamy fall soups, apple pies or cobblers. Steam a pot of apples to stock up on homemade apple sauce. Get energized with superfoods such as kale and cauliflower. And shop for unique items from visiting Manor Sangria and Merchant's Daughter Ciderworks. As these cooler weeks arrive please stay resolute in your support of your farmers and food artisans. They are a reliable food system supporting regional family farms, many of which represent the best in environmental stewardship, and these producers arrive with the foods you love each week.

The Pleasantville Farmers Market will be in Memorial Plaza again this winter. For opening day December 4, the Market will shift to a "preorder & pickup" model with all vendors and all products present in Pleasantville Farmers Market Online. Place orders online, pay with a single click, then enjoy quick, contactless pickup on Saturday at the vendors you preordered from. December through March the Market's winter hours are 9:00am - 11:30am. Though some vendors may have items for spontaneous walk-up purchase, the key to the Winter Market succeeding is the speed and convenience of preordering. Collecting preorders is efficient for shoppers, lessening time in the cold. Focusing on delivering preorders enables vendors to work a shorter market day, keep a smaller staff and avoid the effort of displaying inventory that might freeze. This winter support your producers by using PFM-O to keep connected with your favorite foods, year-round.

Pleasantville Farmers Market remains committed to the health and safety of the whole community, including shoppers, vendors, volunteers, and staff.

Mask wearing for unvaccinated shoppers (including children under 12) is required, and all shoppers are requested to maintain physical distancing in the marketplace.
