The Pleasantville Farmers Market has been voted Best Of Westchester by the readers of Westchester Magazine for a 9th year in a row (2014 - 2022)! The most important aspect in our run as the Best has been the teamwork of all involved. Our farmers and food artisans are incredibly dedicated to their role in providing healthful food for our community, year-round. Our shoppers dependably shop for their families each week while supporting these regional producers. Pleasantville's municipal leaders and staff, the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce and our Sponsors all provide key support. And our staff and volunteers provide untold hours to ensure this complex event succeeds each week. Thanks to all of you for contributing to the Market so it can provide its best.

Mead Orchards has fresh broccolini, garlic scapes, cherries, baby yellow and green squash, and now blueberries (which are grown in a controlled tenting to avoid pesky fruit flies and thus all need for sprayed insecticides).

Red Barn Bakery will be in for an extra visit this Saturday with their July 4th American flag fruit pies.

Woven Stars Farm has fresh chicken this Saturday including whole roaster chickens, boneless breasts, bone-in thighs, drumsticks, wings, livers, hearts, necks and soup kits.

Summer grilling season is underway and SOVA Farm has fresh USDA Organic, pastured chicken set for your menu. This week they're highlighting wonderfully fresh and convenient Spatchcock chickens. For the July 4th weekend Spice Revolution is featuring the ultimate all purpose spice: Black Garlic sea salt. Made with NY state black garlic this spice is excellent for seasoning fish, ribs, mushrooms, greens, steaks, salad, burgers, veggies, roasts, potatoes.. whatever you cook, it’s the perfect spice.

Nina White of Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse says, "This week is a good one for cheeses such as Spring Drumm, and Forêt for Ray, -- and for the wood-fired breads Cranberry Walnut Loaf and Flaxseed Armadillo."
