Trump Son Sports Sombrero At Mexican-Themed Birthday Party

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — One of President Donald Trump’s sons was spotted sporting a sombrero while celebrating his 34th birthday at a Briarcliff Manor Mexican restaurant.

Eric Trump, along with many of the guests at his table, wore a sombrero while blowing out a Fudgie the Whale cake at the Mexican restaurant Guadalajara Saturday, the New York Daily News said.

News sources were quick to point out that, in the run up to the 2016 election, Donald Trump had harsh words for the people of Mexico.

That was something Lynne Patton, the former event planner and aide to Eric Trump, who is a regional administrator at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, took issue with on Twitter.

Referring to the New York Post’s Mark Moore, Patton wrote “Typical of #MarkMoore to deliberately omit the other photos I posted of this diverse bday celebration & friendships. I’m sure Mark is equally disappointed the restaurant echoed their support of the first sone & filed to endorse this desperate attempt at a racist narrative.”
