VIDEO: Chappaqua Gym Welcomes Home Olympian
Gymnast John Orozco receives met with supporters at his former gym, World Cup Gymnastics.
Though it was less than 24 hours after he stepped off a plane from the London Olympics, 19-year-old John Orozco graciously accepted every photo, shirt, shoe, iPhone case and limb thrust his way Wednesday afternoon at in Chappaqua.
The Bronx resident represented Team U.S.A. in the 2012 Olympic games as a gymnast. He trained at World Cup Gymnastics for nearly a decade before making it to the world stage.
He smiled and posed with excited young athletes (and equally excited parents) who cheered and waited in line at his welcome back reception. Orozco in the men's individual all-around final. The U.S.A. team finished fifth at the games.

And while supportive signs, t-shirts and fans made it clear Orozco is the pride of World Cup no matter what, he's itching to train and make a bigger statement at Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
