Vigil Held for Slain Pleasantville Firefighter

Pleasantville Fire Department remembers member murdered 16 years ago.

Saturday marked the 16th anniversary of the murder of Pleasantville firefighter Thomas Dorr, who was killed while walking to the firehouse during a blizzard in 1996.

They held candles and spoke of Dorr with fondness, some calling for Dorr's family to be forthcoming in the unsolved, yet ongoing murder investigation. Dorr's wife and stepson remain suspects in the case.
