The Village of Pleasantville is seeking a part-time Laborer to work at the Recycling Center located at 1 Village Lane. Successful applicants must be able to communicate effectively and work well with the public.

WORK HOURS: Every Saturday from 9am to 3pm

SALARY: Hourly wage $20/hour

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Inspects materials to be dropped at the Recycling Center by residents.
• Ensures the Center is clean and free of clutter around metal pile, electronics bin and food compost area.
• Ensures that recyclable items are collected.
• Addresses public inquires.
• Reviews driver's licenses visitors to confirm residency and accuracy.
• Opens and secures the facility as scheduled.
• Ensures proper placement of recyclable materials by assisting visitors and monitoring containers.
• May be required to lift and carry bulky items short distances.
