The Pleasantville Police Department has recently experienced multiple stolen cars and car break-ins during overnight hours. We once again remind you that unlocked cars are a welcome target for crimes of opportunity. Unlocked vehicles, especially those with the key fobs left inside and / or valuables in plain sight, invite criminal behavior.

Successful crime invites increased criminality. Protect yourself and assist your community by taking the time to make sure your cars are locked and your valuables are secure every night.
