Village Of Pleasantville: Update From NYSDOT Regarding The Saw Mill River Parkway Project

Steel pile driving on the two bridges that carry the Saw Mill River Parkway (SMRP) over the Saw Mill River is complete. These bridges are located just north and south of the Marble Ave exit in Mount Pleasant.

Pile driving along the northbound side of the SMRP in Mount Pleasant and Pleasantville continues. This stage of timber pile driving will continue to take place Monday-Friday during daytime hours (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) through May 2022, weather permitting. Roadway and maintenance work also continues.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
