Villages, Towns, School Boards To Meet

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect Briarcliff and Pleasantville.

Monday

• Pleasantville Board of Trustees, 7 p.m., work session followed by business meeting.

Tuesday

• Briarcliff Manor Board of Trustees, 6 p.m. work session followed by regular meeting.
• Ossining village Board of Architectural Review & Planning Board, 7 p.m., John Paul Rodrigues Ossining Operations Center. Among the items on the agenda: Birch Brook Manor, 81-89 South Highland Ave., requesting extension by re-approval of subdivision plan for construction of a new 5-unit townhouse-style multi-family dwelling on proposed Lot 2 with frontage on Wolden Road.
