SunriseWALKS is this THIS SUNDAY, June 9, 2013. Come walk for the fun of it!
There will be two paths: Half-Mile Walk (about 10 minutes) OR 5k Walk (about 3 miles or 1 hour).

Sunrise Day Camp at Pearl River is open on a non-sectarian basis to all children ages 3 1/2 to 16 years who are coping with any type of cancer at any stage, provided their doctors clear them to participate. Siblings are also welcome to attend. The camp offers children from Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester County, Rockland County, Northern New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut summers filled with fun, friendships, and activities. The camp is free of charge.
In addition to specially trained counselors, specialists, and assistants, Sunrise Pearl River is staffed by on-site pediatric oncology nurses and supported by volunteer pediatric oncology doctors from area hospitals.
Sunrise Day Camp at Pearl River is a project of the Rosenthal JCC in partnership with the Friedberg JCC, and is affiliated with the following renowned hospitals and medical centers:
• Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital • Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center • Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital • New York Presbyterian and David Komansky Center for Children’s Heath • New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital • NYU Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center • Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York • Stony Brook University Medical Center • The Brookdale University Medical Center • The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore • Winthrop University Hospital Cancer Center for Kids. Sunrise also maintains cooperative relations with other prominent New York-area hospitals.
