Weekend Best Bet: LEGOLAND Discovery Center

The LEGOLAND Discovery Center in New York adds holiday charm and cheer to its attractions, rides, 4D cinema and more, all geared for families with children aged 3-10 years old.

Here are some of the special holiday activities:

• Help LEGOLAND Discovery Center give back this holiday season by participating in the Holiday Coat Drive, which runs Dec. 1-18. Visitors are encouraged to donate new and gently used children winter coats at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester to save $3 on admission/
• One of the perennial favorites at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Bricktacular, returns! To celebrate the holiday season, the attraction is transformed into a magical winter wonderland that the whole family will enjoy. Every weekend in December will feature holiday themed events ranging from winter wonderland MINILAND Scavenger Hunts, gingerbread house building lessons in the Master Builder Academy and much more!
• Tuesday, Dec. 8, is Teacher Night at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. From 4pm-7pm, teachers are invited to bring a guest (adult or child) to experience first-hand all the educational elements that the attraction offers. Teachers on-site will not only get to preview the new education programs and workshops offered at the attraction, but will also have a chance to win a LEGO Education Classroom Kit to take back to their schools. • On Dec. 15, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester will again host a Homeschooler Day featuring a special workshop for those who visit. Individual homeschoolers and groups can call the reservation center at 866.243.0770 to get special pricing and discounted meal deals.
• Tot Tuesdays continues! Every Tuesday in December (with the exception of Tuesday 12/29), even the tiniest of LEGO fans can join in on the fun at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester! The attraction will be filled with fun-filled activities designed specifically with toddlers in mind from 10am-2pm featuring kids age 3-5 tickets for only $15 and adults tickets for $16.50.
