Westchester Business Owners Explore Social Media

Chappaqua-Mount Kisco, Yorktown-Somers, Bedford-Katonah, Southeast-Brewster and Pleasantville-Briarcliff Manor Patches hosted its second Main Street U event—a two-hour free event designed to help local businesses up their social media savvy using platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

The Business Council of Westchester partnered with Patch for the seminar. The Business Council's Brittany Oat Serra shared tips for maximizing a business' social media presence.

Lauren Amsterdam of Amsterland, a local advertising agency, also presented ideas and strategies to the crowd of attendees.
