Willy Wonka Opens Tonight at Briarcliff Middle School

If you have ever seen the movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, then wait 'til you see 's Broadway Junior rendition of this classic.

These sixth, seventh and eighth graders have been working since March learning lines, music and choreography in preparation for this weekend's run of shows.

"The kids have been rehearsing three times a week for three months," Director Ian Driver revealed.

Add musical director Wilma Messenger and choreographer Deborah Toteda, and you will see that the cast has been in very good hands.

With Joey Flihan (Willy Wonka) and Mary Donoghue (Charlie Bucket), and the rest of the stellar cast and crew, this performance is truly a delight.

The play opens tonight with its 7 p.m. show and Saturday's 8 p.m. show sold out. There will also be a Sunday matinee at 2:30. Tickets are $10.50.
