Winners to be Announced in the Westchester Smart Mobile App Development Bowl
Students from Pleasantville High School are participating.

Fifty teams from high schools and colleges from throughout the New York metro area will meet at Pace University April 17 for the Judging and Awards Ceremony for the 2015 Westchester Smart Mobile App Development Bowl.
Sponsored by Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino, Pace University’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems and The David and Minnie Berk Foundation, the competition challenges young, up-and-coming tech visionaries to develop mobile apps that will make life better for people in need.
For the past two months, students have been working on developing mobile apps to help patients with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia.

Among the high schools participating in the 2015 competition are: Scarsdale High School, Westlake High School, New Rochelle High School, Byram Hills High School, Pelham High School, Ardsley High School, Fox Lane High School, Pleasantville High School, Rye High School, Suffern High School, Ossining High School, Mount Vernon High School, Hendrick Hudson High School, Mamaroneck High School, Peekskill High School, Lincoln High School, Blind Brook High School, Tappan Zee High School and Horace Greeley High School.
