Your Weekend: Westchester Wine Experience in Pleasantville; UMAC Briarcliff's Kick-a-Thon

Pleasantville's Rotary Club is putting on its annual wine afternoon this weekend, while UMAC Briarcliff is raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Where/When: 's Kessel Campus Center in Pleasantville on Saturday, March 10 at 1 p.m.

Why go: Support the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital during an afternoon of fine wine and food at The Rotary Club of Pleasantville's annual event. , more than 25 different wines were offered at the fundraiser, as well as tasty treats from local eateries such as .

Pricing: $55 in advance, $60 at the door

Where/When: (30 Ryder Rd., Ossining) on Saturday, March 10 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Why go: Help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by "Kicking for a Cure." UMAC students will perform 500 kicks at the beginning of the afternoon, followed by a demonstration and a graduation ceremony. There will also be a black belt tea ceremony and DJ. There will also be raffle drawings, chair massages by Briarcliff Manor's  ($15/15 minutes, $5 donated to LLS), a bake sale and more family fun.

Holy Innocents CYO St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance

Where/When: 's Social Hall on Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Why go: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day and support the church's CYO top-scoring  A ticket includes a buffet meal, beer, wine and live entertainment. The Cunningham Brothers Band will be performing, along Irish step dancers and a drum band. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Email holyinnocentscyobball@gmail.com for tickets.

Ladies Night Karaoke for PFFL

Where/When: on Wednesday, March 7 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Why go: While bad weather postponed this special fundraiser, today is predicted to be sunny and warm. Let loose with some karoake with neighbors to support the Pleasantville Fund for Learning tonight. Ticket price includes one free drink, snacks and homemade desserts. Where/When:  on Monday, March 12 at 7 p.m.

Why go: Celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts with a candlelight ceremony at Law Park with Briarcliff Manor and Pocantico Scouts. There will be reading, singing and reciting the Girl Scout Promise. Join Daisy Scouts in singing "Happy Birthday" and enjoy cupcakes for the occasion.

Where/When:  on Wednesday, March 7 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Members and nonmembers alike are invited to the Purim festival, which will include costumes, reading of the Esther Megillah, songs, a parade and hamentashen.
