3 Port Chester HS Juniors Chosen For Leadership Weekend

They were chosen based on their application and their academic records.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Three Port Chester High School students have been chosen for Mercy College’s leadership weekend.

Ja’liza Michaux, Carmen Ochoa and Matthew Smith, who are all juniors, were accepted into the Mercy College Business Department “Leaders Weekend Experience for Rising Seniors.”

They were chosen based on their application and their academic records, according to a district spokeswoman.

The trio will spend the weekend of July 15-17 at Mercy College learning insights from the school’s business faculty and top executives.

The program will include speakers, team projects in branding and campus tours led by current college students.
